Paramotor: The New Craze

So what is this new big deal about? No one wants to go mountain climbing anymore, and no one even
wants to learn how to fly a plane. Every expensive or complicated hobby out there is starting to slow
down and loose people's interest. You can't quite put your finger on what on earth could be making
everyone want to switch to something else. To get on board with what the new buzz is, you should try
to fly a paramotor.
A paramotor trumps all other extreme sports. Like a paraglider, these units have a paragliding wing and
a harness for the pilot. It also has a motor and a caged propeller that is attached to the pilot's harness.
The pilot straps on the motored propeller like a backpack and uses brake-toggles to control the craft. A
paramotor might as well be called a backpack airplane! With a few running steps, the motor and
propeller thrust the pilot and paramotor into the air for flight!
With flights that average around 500 to 1,000 feet above ground level, most of the flights taken are for
pilots who want to travel or sight-see. Paramotors are not just for sight-seeing though. Flights can even
take a pilot up to a towering 10,000 feet above tall mountain ridges and clouds. The standing record for
the highest altitude flown in a paramotor is around 18,000 feet. There seems to be nothing a paramotor
can't do! So whether you want a low and slow sight-seeing trip or a fast and action filled adventure in
the sky, you can get both of those experiences in this sport. The boundaries will continually be pushed
to new limits!
This sport is not just for the adrenaline junkies and people looking for a crazy and wild adventure. This
sport is for everyone! Because there is no required age of licensing to be able to fly a paramotor, anyone
from their teens to late age can play in this extreme sport. Learning to fly is also easy. There are no
complicated buttons and gages to learn to read, and you can learn to control your paraglider wing
without taking flight. Taking off on a foot launched paramotor is more about technique that physical
fitness, so there is no restriction as to who can embark on this new adventure. Flying a paramotor can
truly be a sport for everyone!
Don't pass paramotors by while everyone else has the time of their life. Adventures are not just for
children and adrenaline junkies. With a paramotor, they can be for everyone! So don't just see what all
the talk is about, experience it yourself!
