Brian Alfaro Reaching Out to Prompt Ongoing Philanthropic Giving
(1888PressRelease) Brian Alfaro has supported and donated to a variety of philanthropic
charities and community-based groups over the years, including The Miracle League, the
National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the Texas State Troopers Association.
(1888PressRelease) San Antonio, TX - Brian Alfaro, President of Alfaro Oil and Gas and
longtime philanthropist, is reaching out in an effort to remind the public of the importance of
supporting the local community and other philanthropic organizations.
Charitable giving has increased over the past few years, the large decline in giving during 2008
and 2009 have these groups playing financial catch up; the 2008 and 2009 declines were the
largest drops in giving in more than 40 years and the sobering reality is that many of these
groups are still hurting financially. Brian Alfaro is reminding us all to donate, volunteer and get
involved so that these important organizations have the opportunity to recover and continue
helping those that need it most.
Brian Alfaro ongoing dedication to supporting philanthropic and community-oriented groups
began over twenty years ago when he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Brian Alfaro drive
and determination to succeed as a multifaceted entrepreneur and oil professional are matched
only by his dedication to supporting causes close to his heart.
The Miracle League serves over 200,000 children and young adults with disabilities and was
founded in the belief that, "Every Child Deserves to Play Baseball." As a longtime resident of
Texas and as a part of his dedication to supporting his loved ones and fellow community
members, Brian Alfaro also donates to the Texas State Troopers Association, a voluntary labor
organization of non-supervisory commissioned officers and retirees of the Texas Department of
Public Safety.
The Association provides a number of benefits to its members and their families and works to
help those that have given so much of themselves to keep Texas a safe place.
A cause especially meaningful to Brian Alfaro is the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, a
collective of passionate individuals dedicated to moving toward a world free of multiple
sclerosis. Through generous donations from individuals like Brian Alfaro, the National Multiple
Sclerosis Society is able to help people affected by MS by funding cutting-edge research, driving
change through advocacy, facilitating professional education, and providing programs and
services designed to help individuals with MS and their families move their lives forward.
Brian Alfaro, as part of his ongoing commitment to improving the lives of others wants to
remind us all of the importance of giving back to local communities and helping to support
charitable causes. The benefits associated with donating our time and money are two-fold: these
groups receive the assistance they need to help others and both individuals and companies feel a
sense of gratification knowing that they helped someone else. Brian Alfaro suggests reaching out
to your local community groups and charities and doing what you can to help. Whether it is
financially or by donating your time, it all adds up and is vital to maintaining the health and well-
being of our communities.
