Call for International Officials
11th National Selection Conference of EYP The Netherlands

Dear EYP Alumni,
In February 2011, EYP The Netherlands will host its 11th National Selection Conference in The
Hague. Therefore, we are now looking for a Vice-President, Chairs, Editors, Journalists,
Video Editors, and Jurors. Officials have a significant responsibility in the success of the
session and we would be delighted if you were interested in playing a key role in making the 11th
Dutch National Selection Conference an unforgettable and successful event for everyone
involved!

Please note: this is the call for International officials. The call for Dutch officials will be launched
separately.

A total of twelve delegations will take part in this year’s National Selection Conference, which
will take place between 5 – 7 February 2011. The delegations have been selected at six
Preliminary Sessions held all across the country over three weekends in November and
December 2010 and January 2011. Participants will be divided into eight committees, consisting
of approximately ten delegates each. The session will include all traditional EYP elements,
including Teambuilding, Committee Work and General Assembly. There is no participation fee
for officials. However, travel costs to and from the session are at your own expense.

Please note: International Officials are expected to arrive on Friday 4 February. Departures may
take place on Monday 7 February from 20:00 onwards.

Head Organisers of the session are Laurens Kraima and Boudewijn Bisschop, and we are
happy to announce that the President of the session will be Chris Hall from the United Kingdom.

Applications may be sent to applications@eyp.nl until the 28th of November. All
applications will then be considered by the Board of EYP The Netherlands, in consultation with
the Head Organisers and the President of the session. In order to apply, please fill out the
application form below. All applicants will be informed individually of the outcome of their
application once the selection is completed.
