Atreus thought this meant Aegisthus killed Atreus

So Clytaemnestra plotted with Aegisthus to kill Agamemnon and Kassandra
They killed them both with an ax
Electra placed Orestes in care of Strophis

So he formed a plan with Pylades
He returned to his mother, said visitor from Aetolia, said Orestes was dead
Pylades gave her an urn said contained remains of Orestes
Orestes kileld his mother during that night
the Myceneans secured Orestes' escape b/c of love for his father when Tyndareus came to
prosecute him and His mother's furies tormented him
