CLOSURE

Logline: A couple decides to have sex one last time before going
their separate ways, but the man sees that it means nothing to
him.
SCENE 1
INT. BEDROOM - EVENING
The room is dimly lit, but enough that we can see clearly. A
black and white photo of a couple kissing in the street hangs on
the wall.
NICK FOSTER and ABIGAIL CONWAY, both in their mid-20’s, are both
sitting at the bottom of her bed facing the same way. They both
look like they’ve been let down by something.
NICK
Yeah, I... I get it.
ABIGAIL
(pauses)
It’s just not-
NICK
You beat me to it, I was gonna bring it up tomorrow.
ABIGAIL
After we’d have sex.
NICK
That’s not really what I-
ABIGAIL
Oh come on, I was thinking the same thing. Unless I can’t even
get you up anymore.
NICK
(snorts a laugh)
It’s the only thing we still have in common.
ABIGAIL
So what.
(reaches for his crotch)
NICK
(grabs her arm before it gets there)
We just... At this point, do you really want to?
ABIGAIL
(pulls her arm away slowly)
It’s not even a big deal anymore.
NICK
(looks away, stares into space)
ABIGAIL
(dryly)
You know how I like it by now.
Nick looks back to her, pauses, then sighs with a look of
compliance. They start kissing and taking each others clothes
off. Abigail lies back while Nick reaches under the bed and
pulls out a power drill. She sees it and smiles in anticipation.
He turns it on and puts it in her vagina.
Abigail vomits blood, but is visibly getting an extreme amount
of pleasure from the experience. After a few seconds of carnage,
Nick removes the drill and they begin to have sex. At first they
are both very into the act, but as they continue, Abigail starts
to bleed out and become more and more lifeless. Her movements
become more faint, her limbs become more limp, and her breath
gets less and less intense until finally she is not breathing at
all. By the time Nick finishes, she is completely dead.
He looks at the dead girl who was once a part of his life,
running his fingers through her hair. He sighs, then gets up and
walks out of the room.
