Contentment In Singleness
Sometimes it completely amazes me, that married people want to be single and the single people want to be married. So many people
have the grass is greener syndrome. There are obviously differences depending on whether or not you are married or single.
Philippians 4:11 (King James Version)
11Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
Learning to be content does not mean that you will never have what you want. Quite the contrary it simply means that you have to be
willing to be content. There are specific lessons that the Holy Spirit wants to teach us in the season that we are in a certain time in our
lives. If we are too busy trying to be somewhere that Jesus does not want us then we will miss the lesson.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 (King James Version)
1To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
When you are single then you are given a unique opportunity to give all that you have to God. When and if God intends for you to be
married then you will. You can't rush God.

Don't think that you have to be married to be complete, you are just as much complete as a married person even if you never get
married. Know that you are whole and that no man or woman can complete you. Also remember that when we die, we are no longer
married and we become the bride of Jesus.
Be content in the state that you are in, find joy in every day and know that you know that you are complete and live according to the
plan and purpose of God.
