Let's pray as we begin our lecture tonight......
Father in heaven, thank you, that in the cross of Christ there is peace and freedom from guilt and forgiveness. Lead
us to the cross tonight in
Christ's name, Amen.
It is yet another time with the Lord beloved, and you are greatly welcomed. We thank the Almighty God for guiding
us through all these days of our encounter with Him, may His praise be song. Amen
Still on relationship, we will be looking at the inevitable relationship.
“The Inevitable Relationship”
Key text:
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God:
therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. (1 John 3:1)
Naturally, our hearts do beat without our control and through this process blood and blood vessels distribute oxygen
and nutrients to the body and carrying away carbon dioxide and other waste products. Why can’t we stop our hearts
from doing this process? The answer is simple, because it is innate and without it we would be dead.
There are many other things we do not ask for but it’s part of us whether we like it or not. Among these things is the
unconditional and incomprehensible love of God. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were
yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
“Many are the ways in which God is seeking to make Himself known to us and bring us into communion
with Him. Nature speaks to our senses without ceasing. The open heart will be impressed with the love and glory of
God as revealed through the works of His hands. The listening ear can hear and understand the communications of
God through the things of nature. The green fields, the lofty trees, the buds and flowers, the passing cloud, the
falling rain, the babbling brook, the glories of the heavens, speak to our hearts, and invite us to become acquainted
with Him who made them all.” (Steps to Christ, p 86)
A song writer wrote these words:
Thorns on His head, spear in His side
Yet it was a heartache that made Him cry
He gave His life so that you would understand
Is there any way you could say no to this Man?
If Christ Himself
Were standing here
Face full of glory and eyes full of tears
He'd hold out His arms and His nail-printed hands
Is there any way you could say no to this Man?
How could you look in His tear-stained eyes
Knowing it's you He's thinking of?
Would you tell Him you're not ready to give Him your life?
Could you say you don't think you need His love?
Jesus is here with His arms open wide
You can see Him with your heart if you'd stop looking with your eyes
He's left it up to you, He's done all that He can
Is there any way you could say no to this Man?
Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken
diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.(Isaiah 55:2)

God looks up to us to just put our hands in His and He shall lead us through the storms of this life. How can we miss
such a Divine opportunity? Brethren in the Lord, we are living on a “borrowed time” now is the grace period. We
never know how valuable what we have until we lose it. God forbid it
Just as we can’t stop our hearts from beating, in that same light do our souls long for God. Beloved the
night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of
light. (Romans 13:12) A life without God is not worth living, "for what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the
whole world, and lose his own soul?” True life is given only by God through His Son, Jesus Christ, that if we have
a closer relationship with Him we might be saved from these perils of life. What else would we want than Jesus?
Jesus, father to the fatherless
Jesus, mother to the motherless
Jesus, home of the homeless
Jesus, friend of all times
Jesus, husband and wife to the widower and widow
Jesus, the bread of life
Jesus, the eternal rock of ages
Jesus, the name above all names
Jesus! Our shepherd, Guardian, Friend, Our Prophet, Priest, King, Our Way, Life and End
“Jesus is all to all”
All we need to do is to love God in return; we must have a closer relationship to return this love. And before one can
have a closer relationship with God, all we need to do is
To talk to God every second through prayer which is the breathe of the soul
To feed on His word, the Bible which is the food for the soul
To sing His praise and live a life that counts, a life which reflects the love of God in you.
May God bless our souls to have a closer and deeper walk with Him. Amen
