Guest lecture on "Effective Communication"

A guest lecture was organized for the Jims students of BCA first and third semester on Effective
Communication. This lecture was given by Mr. Anshuman Gupta MBA (Marketing),
Symbiosis, Pune . Mr. Gupta has also worked as Voice and Accent trainer with companies like
NIIT and iLEAD. He has successfully conducted number of training programs on Sales, Time
Management, Goal setting, Team building, Attitude etc.

The lecture had its main emphasis on Psychological Barriers in Communication. The students
were informed about the P and PC balance, the process of communication and most
importantly the contribution of human amygdale in communication. At the end students were
given useful tips on overcoming the barriers in communication.

The students were shown interesting movie clippings to explain the importance of
communication. The students thoroughly enjoyed the lecture and are very positive and excited
about attending such lectures in future too.
