Honda Siel Cars India has spontaneously leveraged itself to direct the extra cost to the company
which had resulted as the Central Government of India had increased the surcharge on excise
duty by a heavy rise of two per cent on its previous value. Now, the all time favorite creation of
Honda, Honda City is bound by hindrance of more than Rs 10,000 more added to its price
money for the recently launched high end variants that featured the sunroof hoist. Thus, Honda
City price revision is disappointingly rose troubling the buyers with the extra expenses.
The holocaust has spread to every Honda City variants. As per Honda City reviews, the present
marketed Honda City has seven variants. The high end variants V MT (Sunroof) and V AT
(Sunroof) are the recently launched versions where V MT (Sunroof) has got a rise of Rs 9,750
that elevates its new price tag to Rs 9.60 lakh and the V AT (Sunroof) got an appraisal of Rs
10,500 that eventually, made the new price label as Rs 1.03 lakh. The mid variants V MT and V
AT got a hike of Rs 8,250 and Rs 9,000 respectively. This addition results a settled price of Rs
8.78 lakh for V MT and Rs 9.51 lakh for the V AT variant. E MT and S MT versions saw a hike of Rs
5,000 and Rs 6,500 respectively making their current prices as Rs 7.75 lakh for the E MT version
and S MT is tagged with Rs 8.26 lakh by the present changes. Honda City Corporate, the low end
variant faces a rise of Rs 10,500 which eventually makes its final price as Rs 7.09 lakh.

With the illogical stretch in inflation that the country is facing, it can be said that the creeping
price rise of automobiles is a threat for the market sales of transport utilities for the present
