How to download and process a James Hooker advertising reel

1.
First download and install this…

4. Follow this link to download and install DVDfab

5. Insert your chosen movie into drive while program is
running and once disc has been read, select the ‘Generic’
option from ‘DVD to Mobile’
6. Note closely now, select the main movie from the list. This is
most likely to be the longest playing file on the DVD, use the
preview screen in the corner if unsure. Then, make sure the
English standard AC3/5.1 audio is selected. Next, deselect all
subtitles in the subpicture box. And finally, make sure
‘generic.avi.h264.audiocopy is selected. Press start.

6. Wait for the DVD to copy. This may take some time
depending on the speed of your machine.
7. Navigate to the folder where each of the files are
saved and put them into a single folder. Name the
advertising video ‘1’ and the main movie ‘2’.
8. Download the final program from
http://dvdvideosoft.com/download/FreeVideoToDVDConverter.exe
Run it and add the two videos onto the list. (Make the
file ‘1’ is above ‘2’ on the list. Now check that the DVD
will be no bigger than the DVD can hold (ie. No bigger
than 4.7 gigabytes, where the red line is drawn) and
decrease the quality if it is too big. Then click create DVD

9. If you would like, click the folder button on the DVD
creation window (depicted in the bottom left of the
previous page) while the DVD is producing. Then go into
Temp_DoNotDelete and find an image like the one
shown below. Open it in paint. Use the select tool to
select a piece of blue. Then copy and paste it onto the
website address in the corner. Make sure you do this
before the DVD copying procedure reaches 40%. Save
the paint file and exit when you are finished.



10. When the DVD has finished being produced.
Open DVD fab again and select ‘write data’ from
the DVD to DVD menu on the left hand side.

Locate the folder containing the new DVD. The address
for this usually is.
My Documents\DVDVideoSoft\FreeVideoToDVDConverter\VIDEO_TS
Once the VIDEO_TS folder has been located, put a blank
DVD into your computer drive and press start. The DVD
will then begin to be written to. Once it has finished
writing, put it into your DVD drive and the DVD should
start.
