How To Find a Christian Mate
As a Christian we know that we should want to find a Christian mate. The Bible clearly tells us that we need to have
someone that is on the same accord and is in agreement with the word of God.
2 Corinthians 6:14
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and
what communion hath light with darkness?
So if this is true for us as children of God, then we must know that if we are to call ourselves Christian then we should
automatically want to find a Christian mate. There are a few basic things to remember when you are dating.
1. Jesus is Lord. That means that not you or the other person is Lord. If they try to make themselves or even you
Lord then walk away.
2. Remember the Holy Spirit will expose, reveal, and remove anyone that is contrary to the word of God. If the other
person does not fit into the plan and purpose that God has for your life do not get upset when God removes them
from your life.
3. Ladies remember that he is supposed to find you. The Bible says in
Proverbs 18:22
King James Version (KJV)
22Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.
4. When you find a Christian mate always keep Jesus as the head of your relationship and lean not to your
own understanding.
5. Always remember that you are complete in Jesus and don't need another person to complete you.
Never get ahead of God, if He wants you to be single then be content in being single. If He wants you to be
married then he will bring the two of you together and you will be married. Whatever the decision, allow God to
make it. He has never asked for your opinion and He won't start so be patient and wait of God to find a Christian
mate just for you.
