No 4G LTE
In the year and a half since it came out, the iPhone 4s
specs have been beaten by Android "superphones" in
nearly every way: Screen size, processor power,
and wireless Internet speeds. But while most of the
reasons why someone might want an iPhone were
hard to explain using numbers, one of them wasn't:
battery life. Because while the iPhone 4 boasted 6
hours of web-browsing time, the HTC Thunderbolt
-- one of the super-est of the superphones - clocked
in at roughly two and a half.
Despite increasing in performance, the new iPhone

loaded into RAM, so that it can switch back and
forth between them more quickly. It's like keeping
something foremost in your mind, instead of having
to take a moment to remember it. The problem is,
in exchange for being faster RAMuses more battery
power. And RAM has to be turned on all the time,
in essence, so a device that has more RAM also has
lower battery life.
The iPhone 4S has the same 512 MB of RAM that the
iPhone 4 does, while Android super phones have up
to 1 GB (1024 MB). Just like with 4G LTE connection
speeds, this makes them much faster ... and makes
them burn out much faster as well.
