I hope that you do not put to one side the matters discussed in this issue as
soon as you finish reading it. I say this because Codex Alimentarius is not
exactly a phrase that is heard every day down your local corner shop. To
dissolve away any mystery, Codex Alimentarius simply means food code. In
1962, the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and the World Health
Organisation (WHO) created the Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC)
to control the international trade of food.
However, over the last 40 years, large food corporations who have an inter-
est in genetically modified products as well as the pharmaceutical industry
have hijacked the Codex Alimentarius agenda.
In the words of the National Health Federation (NHF), the current objective
of Codex Alimentarius is to eradicate all organic and natural farming. To
the ordinary person, these targets are so ridiculous and outrageous they will
never be achieved. It is meant to sound preposterous, so preposterous that
nobody would ever believe it. Yet when the evidence is examined, it is quite
evident that such an agenda is being forced upon the human populace cov-
ertly.
