Jindal Steel & Power Limited a part of the US$ 12 billion O.P. Jindal Group is operating
a 3 Million Ton integrated steel plant and 358 MW captive power plant at Raigarh
(Chhattisgarh). Jindal Power Limited is operating a 1000 MW Thermal Plant at Tamnar,
Chhattisgarh, a company promoted by Jindal Steel and Power, which has obtained the
Mega Power Project status from the Government of India. JPL is implementing several
other projects including 4X600 MW at Tamnar, 6x135 MW at Angul and 4x135 M W at
Dongamahua, Chhattisgarh. JSPL has captive iron ore mines at Tensa (Orissa) and coal
mines at Raigarh. The company has embarked upon a massive expansion plan of the
existing plants and undertaken new projects in power, steel, mining, oil and gas, and
infrastructure sectors including 2 large Greenfield integrated steel projects, each of 6
MTPA at Angul (Orissa) and Patratu (Jharkhand). In Bolivia (South America), JSPL is
investing US$ 2.1 billion in development of Iron ore Mines and an integrated steel plant.

Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs)
In Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation & Control/ Metallurgical/Civil Engineering
for Plants/Projects at various National and International locations.
ELIGIBILITY: JINDAL STEEL AND POWER
Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering/ Technology in any of the
above mentioned disciplines from a recognized University/ Institute with minimum 60%
marks throughout the academic years (10th, 12th / Diploma/ Degree). Candidates
graduating in 2011 (currently in VII semester can also apply) Age Limit: B.Tech / B.E.
Candidates born on or after Jan 01,1986 M.Tech/M.E. Candidates born on or after Jan
01,1984 Candidates having NPTI degree will be given due weight age for Power projects
SELECTION: JINDAL STEEL AND POWER
The selection of the candidates will be through a Written test (Domain Test + Aptitude
Test), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Written test will be conducted
offline at the following 16 test centres: Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkatta, Bangalore,
Hyderabad, Pune, Chandigarh, Bhubaneshwar, Raipur, Ranchi, Nagpur, Lucknow,

Bhopal, Jaipur&Vara nasi. The Management reserves the right to change the test centre
& test date depending on the number of candidates and exigency if any.
