[Kamal Koirala] Glossary; Compilation of Terminologies related with Conflict and Peace Studies

What I found……………….. As Conflict, Peace & Development Studies is a new multidisciplinary subject in the academic field of South Asia (especially in the post graduate level), students from the different discipline to this field, may or may not be familiar with the terms related to the subject matter. I, myself became the victim for a long time and wandered a lot in the internet and with some books in search of the meaning of the terms. This very glossary is the outcome of my wandering. It is neither based on my own knowledge nor a great achievement but just a small attempt to collect the subject related terms from different sources. I would like to thank those people and institutions who had contributed a lot for making different sources available in the websites. Regarding their contribution, ...with due respect, I have used [*] [**] [***] [****] as the symbols of different sources from which the definitions are abstracted. All the sources are indicated with its symbols at page no.146 of the booklet. I have also included “An Agenda for Peace”, “The Charter of the United Nations”, “Wilson’s Principle” and “UDHR” in this compilation, which i found important for those person who tries to have knowledge on Conflict, Peace & Development Studies as well as International Relation. This booklet is just for my personal use but may be equally useful for the beginners. - Compiler
