I support punishement fit the crime. Sadly, that is often not the case in the USA. I do believe that we all will be judged and there is a heaven and a hell. That alone does comfort, knowing that where our legal systems let the abused (animal, person, male, female, etc) down. At the end of the abuser's life, the real / true judgement comes.
In this case, Patrick as beat Kisha Curtis in so many many ways. His will to live. He is now living a life that she clearly has never experienced or will ever experience. He is the face of a hero and of a cause.... she is now the being seen as what she is... a sad little individual and even a joke. One day, Patick will die and he will go to heaven. Can't help but wonder, what about Kisha Curtis?
