Innovation and R&D initiatives in real estate sector.
Amity is the only university in India which offers an MBA program in Urban Infrastructure and Real Estate Management.
This one of its kind unique program is conducted by Amity School of Urban Management in its Noida Campus.

Amity School of Urban Management and Earth Infrastructures Ltd has signed a Knowledge Partnership agreement to redefine
the real estate industry by joint research Initiatives and spreading the knowledge through research papers, workshops,
symposia, and conferences. The joint initiative aims to address cross-sharing of knowledge as well as joint research initiatives
to tap academic knowledge and industry experience. Currently, there are no pertinent researches available for Real Estate
Industry in Indian context which is contrary to the western countries. A number of factors differentiate Indian real estate
industry vis-a-vis other real estate markets such as lower extent of mechanization, building design for three different weather
conditions, legal framework and regulations. This first ever Indian Real Estate Industry - Academia agreement for knowledge
partnership intends to propel the industry by enhancing effectiveness & efficiency of operations, excellence of product and
service quality, cost effectiveness and enrichment of customer experiences.
Both the parties also agreed on exchange of knowledge, faculty and subject matter experts. A joint partnership will be formed
to conduct research and come up with White Papers and research paper publications to benefit the industry and meet the ever
growing expectations from Indian real estate industry. Earth Infrastructures Ltd. has also expressed significant interest to visit
the Amity campus and offer placement opportunities to MBA students.
As per the terms of the agreement, both parties will designate a coordinator to oversee and facilitate implementation of this

MoU. These coordinators will be working closely to review the accomplishment, goal setting and planning for future
achievements.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Avdhesh Goel, Jt. Managing Director -Earth Infrastructures Ltd and Er. A.K. Srivastava,
Director - Amity School of urban Management. This agreement is significant as it is the first Memorandum of Understanding
between Academia and Real Estate Industry and it will have a long-term positive impact for Indian Real Estate industry to
address the acute shortage of qualified professionals in real estate industry.
Mr. Avdhesh Goel says "Innovation is our culture, and this is an important initiative in our endeavor to redefine the Indian
Real Estate Industry by various research initiatives. This agreement with Amity University demonstrates our spirit." He
further adds that this agreement is an initial milestone but journey is long. This MoU paves the way for increased
academia-industry cooperation in real estate sector which is the need of the hour.
