READING
There is a race that takes place every five years. It’s never shown on TV, or reported in the
newspapers, but for those who take part it’s bigger than any other sporting event.
It’s the Three Mountain Survival Challenge. Teams of four race up and down three mountains,
with nothing more than their clothes to help them survive.
The race takes three days to complete. During that time, teams must build a shelter, find food
and try not to get injured.
It’s a tough challenge, so for a team to complete the course, they only need to get two of their
members across the finishing line.
So, why is it held every five years? Because it takes people four years to recover from the race!

True or False
31 The race happens every five years. _____
32 You can’t read about it in the newspapers _____.
33 It is for four teams. _____
34 It lasts for three days. _____
35 Not all the team must finish the race. _____
