Mr. Lian Xiaoqiang will be the executive vice-president, who is also the president of Fujian Logistics Association, and Fujian Shipowners Association. China Cross-straits Logistics Cooperation Forum is regularly held every year and invites senior governors, industrial experts, presidents from outstanding logistics enterprises at home and abroad to have in-depth discussion on hot spots of latest development of modern logistics industry. It’s simultaneously accompanied by annual meeting or round table meeting of logistics working group of CDNCA-Enterprise Central Committee; annual council of China 21 Century Logistics Times; special cooperation round-table conference; experts’ expostulation meetings; project study, negotiation and related activities. Moreover, three days Cross-straits Logistics & Supply Chain Expo is going to begin from year 2009. The first cross-strait logistics forum was successfully held in Fuzhou from June 20th to 21st of year 2008, with “Strengthening regional economic cooperation, and 1promote the development of modern logistics” as its theme. It was co-sponsored by CDNCA Fujian committee, Fujian Provincial Economic and Trade Commission, Fujian Logistics Association and other units; and hosted by China 21 Century Logistics Times. There were more than 400 guests from 14 provinces in mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, as well as the United States, Singapore and other countries and regions at home and abroad. The forum made a number of important achievements and received relevant government departments’ and industries’ wide acclaim. It’s generally agreed that the first cross-strait logistics forum catches the right time, is of high-quality, large-scale, innovative, abundant, and great impact. There were more than 20 units like People's Daily, China Business News, Modern Logistics News, Wen Wei Po, Ta Kung Pao, Taiwan's United Daily News, Fujian Daily, Fujian TV, Sina, and other inside and outside mainstream media in a timely manner giving comprehensive coverage of the forum and its activities.
