The Mercedes Benz M Class was launched in the year 1997 as a 1998 model and was a big hit in the US and Mexico. The model got
used in a Hollywood movie- The Lost World: Jurassic Park- before the commercial launch and received immense popularity. That, in fact,

The Mercedes Benz M Class debuted with a 3.0 litre, 2987cc, V6 powertrain that
produces maximum power of 244 hp at 3800 rpm and delivers maximum torque of
510 Nm at 1600-2800 rpm with the help of 7-speed '7G-TRONIC' Automatic
Transmission. The mid-size sports utility vehicle comes loaded with standard 17 inch
light weight alloy wheels and high profile tyres. The Mercedes Benz M Class has got
dual circuit brakes coupled with Anti-lock braking system with brake assist. The car
has been equipped with Airmatic suspension system; the front and rear suspension
type are double wishbone /4 link.The Mercedes Benz M Class sports all wheel drive
system fitted in the 4MATIC is partnered by the ESP/4ETS electronic dynamic
handling control system.
