If you look way up high, in the middle of the
night, when the stars are the brightest, you
might catch a glimpse of a bright purple planet.
This planet is full of strange and interesting
monsters! Some are very large, and some are
teeny tiny. They are all a little different, just like
us. If you squint your eyes and stare very hard,
you might see this special place, the planet
FuFu, and you might just see a FuFu squinting
back at you.
I know you see, because I once had the chance
to visit the planet FuFu. I was on a spaceship
that lost its way. When I saw the purple planet,
I decided to give it a try. When I landed the
spaceship, I thought the place was pretty
strange. The sky was green and the grass was
blue. The trees had leaves at the bottom and
roots at the top!

A spunky little ball of fur began nipping at my
heels. I reached down to give him a little pat,
and his tiny furry body exploded into a cloud of
fluff and tongue. He wagged his tongue, and
blinked his eyes as he floated off the ground. He
looked like a cloud as he drifted toward the
home I had landed behind. When he sat on the
back porch, he turned back into a little ball and
rolled himself against the back door.
The house was built from sparkling bricks,
which shifted this way and that, always
changing the shape of the home. First it was a
tall tower, next it was a diamond, and when I
put my foot up on the back porch, it shifted into
the shape of an arrow that pointed in the
opposite direction.

The windows flashed as an alarm blasted, and a
strange language could be heard.
"Braka kinn ala bing!" a loudspeaker shouted. I
took my foot off the porch. Instantly the blaring
stopped. The flashing stopped. The house
shifted back into a diamond shape.
Through one of the windows a pair of wobbling
eyes peeked out at me. They hovered above the
windowsill as they stared at me.
Zoom! The eyes disappeared. Zap! A little
orange being appeared right in front of me.
Dark green hair spiked from the top of his head,
and his smile was as wide as his face. He had no
nose that I could see, but where it should have
been, was a flower! Its petals were the same
dark green as his hair, and its center was the
same orange as his skin. It was a very
interesting sight!
