Book of Hope - Road Edition
Nearly four years ago, Chaplain R. Duane Gryder envisioned an easy-to-read evangelism tool for those in the biker
culture. Last year the pocket size Book of Hope - Road Edition was published for distribution to bikers and
motorcyclists. The 184 page Road Edition is not a complete New Testament. It is an evangelism tool and a study
guide for the life of Jesus as an introduction to Christ. It merely takes the four gospels in an easy to read version
(CEV) and puts the story of Jesus in Chronological order so that it reads like a book. It also has articles: Brotherhood
of the Way, Honor and Respect, Commitment, Faithfulness, and Loyalty, plus testimonies by Chaplain Curtis Hubbell,
a Teen Challenge graduate; and Rich Vreeland, a Harley-Davidson dealer and championship racer. It also has 6 fill-
in-the-blank sections that can be used with a small group on a weekly basis to study the life and message of Jesus.
Because the Assemblies of God Light for the Lost financed the first 100,000 of the books, Gryder is able to provide
the books for FREE. He only asks for two things: 1.) That you pay for labeling the boxes and shipping them to you.
2.) That you put labels on the back of each book with your church's/group's contact information so
people will know who gave them the book.
You can see the articles and excerpts from the book at www.BookOfHope-RoadEdition.com.
Contact Chaplain R, Duane Gryder at Duane@DesertHighway.org to find out how to get these books
shipped to you. He only ships by the case and there are 72 books per case. 5 case maximum unless
you get prior permission. AG LFTL just approved printing an additional 100,000 books this year.
