India which is partner of
Japanese firm Nissan in the
Indian
auto
market
is
manufacturing a C segment
sedan that would be launched
See More Nissan Sunny Pictures
in the month of October this
year. The new Renault sedan
is in the making on V-
Platform and Sunny base.
On the V-Platform based manufacturing Renault sedan price will also be
similar to the Nissan Sunny price but appearance and features might get
some differences at minor level. Renault India's new teaser images for the
Sunny-based C-Segment sedan have been leaked out. And along with
Renault Duster SUV, this sedan will also be offered to the Indian buyers
on starting of the festive season of this year.
The French auto major would
use the Formula 1 race (26-28
October) as an occasion to launch
one of two new products such as
Duster SUV and sedan just like
Renault
Pulse.
It
is
too
speculated that first of all the
company will introduce the diesel
model of the C-segment sedan to
attract
the
buyers
through
impressive
fuel
economy.
Renault sedan would be using
the Nissan Sunny features as

well as Pulse features to prove
itself decent in the segment.
The V-Platform based Renault sedan will use the latest 1.5-liter K9K
diesel engine for the diesel model while the 1.6-liter petrol engine is also
in expectations. Renault-Nissan combine's 1.2-liter 3-cylinder petrol
engine will be putted in the sedan for petrol version. The speculated
Renault sedan mileage is too similar to Nissan Sunny mileage. Overall, a
before the end of this year Renault India will also be diving in C-
Segment sedan car market of India.
