the book yet, its a good time to get a copy while they last.
Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) little did Tammy know that the incest that began at only 9 years
old would be the beginning of 25 year journey attempting to mask the pain. Strictly forbidden to
ever speak about this horrible sexual abuse that went on for nearly 2 years before it came into the
light, she couldn't hold it inside of her any longer. Feeling as though she was to blame she ran
away with the carnival at 13 years old. This lead to drugs & alcohol, additional sexual assaults,
beaten, and what seemed to appear as her savior she married at 16 years old. Her husband began
to physically abuse this broken child in unspeakable ways. The black & blue bruises and eyes
were a good day compared to the broken bones.
Years of self-abuse, shame and guilt too much for any child to bare she escaped with her
daughter after 7 years, no worth on her own life but in fear of her daughters.
The drugs & alcohol landed her in prison with a 10 year sentence.
Hanging from the edge of existence for 25 years, Tammy finally learns in an inpatient therapy
program just how dysfunctional her life had been, she also heard the words for the first time that
the incest by her paternal grandfather was not her fault.
A spiritual awakening was the beginning of Tammy learning to love herself, release the shame
and talk about the pain out loud. She began to rebuild & relearn how to live a healthy life.
Thriving in Virginia with her daughters and her furry friend Karma, she is happier than ever and
is now on a mission to help others reclaim a healthy life.
