Ribs in Oven-Baked Goodness

Ribs are fantastic meat cuts that you may turn into exciting dishes. Cooking ribs in the oven is
one of the most popular ways but you may also grill it, roast it, or broil it. You get a different
effect with a different cooking method. Baking your ribs, however, provide a lot of
advantages.

Baking vs. Grilling

As mentioned earlier, popping your ribs into the oven has a couple of advantages.

For one, it delivers a tasty meal altogether. A lot of people thought that it is only when you
grill your ribs that you can make it mouthwatering. Well, they should have thought again.
Although you need a lot of time for it, the result is definitely worth the wait. After four hours
or more, you will get tender, juicy, and yummy ribs meal straight from your oven, right at the
comfort of your kitchen.

For another, it can be cooked in the kitchen. Even when it rains, you can enjoy a ribs dish.
You do not have to go outside, as with grilling, because there will not be any smoke involved.

How to Grill Ribs

To get perfect results all the time, you need to learn how to cook ribs the right way. Here are
some tips:

Tip #1: The size of your ribs or your portion sizes will determine how long it will need to stay
in the oven.

Tip #2: It is important to season your ribs well. Aside from the usual salt and pepper, you may
use other seasonings, depending on your desired flavor.

Tip #3: Do not involve the barbecue sauce from the start of the cooking time. Pour it only
when your ribs are already almost done. Putting it earlier or allowing the meat to soak into it
for a few hours may make your dish's flavor too strong.

Tip #4: You can make baked potatoes, baked beans, or potato salad as a side dish for your
oven-baked ribs recipe. You can do your side dish while you are waiting for the ribs to cook.

Tip #5: Use an accurate meat thermometer to check your meat's doneness. You need to cook
your meat until it reaches about 155 degrees of inside temperature. It is important that the
meat cooks thoroughly. Otherwise, you will not enjoy your meal.

Tip #6: Before serving, make sure that you allow the ribs to rest for at least 5 to 10 minutes.
That will help seal in the flavors and cook the meat through.
