For over a century, we have come to believe that the youth is the hope of the motherland. Their positive energies
and enthusiasm towards the things they get involved in are very promising characteristics that give our society a
better chance at a brighter future. Today, however, the conditions that they live under become detriment to their
potential to be catalysts of change.

"Palabas na may Malasakit" or "PAMALAS" was a youth led fundraising event organized last year by student
leaders and young musicians for the benefit of seven to eight year-old students who live in Southville 8-B, a
relocation site in Montalban, Rizal which is home to thousands of families. This 2012, the event's organizers come
together again for an even bigger and better fundraising concert.

To be held in Homer's Grill in Sgt. Esguerra Street (in front of ABS-CBS Broadcast Center) on June 30, 2012
from 6:00 PM onwards, "PAMALAS" will now be organized for the benefit of the Kabataang Claretiano Youth
Ministry (KCYM), the most organized youth group in the abovementioned relocation site. In partnership with the
Claret Urban Poor Apostolate (CUPA) and the Children's Museum and Library Inc. Junior Council - Alumni
Association (CMLI JC-AA), the proceeds of the event will be used to fund (i) a leadership training seminar for
members and interested non-members of KCYM, and (ii) to fund the projects conducted for the youth in the
relocation site. These projects will be aimed to utilize the time and positive energies of the growing number of
young people in the area.

It is now our humble request, from your good name, if you may be able to help raise funds for these beneficiaries
through this event. Your contribution will surely go a long way in encouraging the less fortunate young members
