Tevron LLC today announced support across its CitraTest family of automated
testing solutions for all Progress Software based applications.
CitraTest, the world’s first automated testing solution will full support for
Progress Software based applications.
Chelmsford, Massachusetts, February 18, 2003 – Tevron, LLC today announced support across
its CitraTest family of automated testing solutions for Progress Software based applications.
Because CitraTest replicates the real user experience, corporations now have the ability to
automated the functional testing of all their applications developed using Progress Software. In
addition, the overall application response times and can accurately be measure and monitored.
CitraTest replicates the actions of a real world user. Through intelligent Visual Basic
script logic, CitraTest directly interacts with the Progress Software based application like a real
user would by dynamically analyzing the video output for uniquely defined images (i.e. menu items,
buttons, icons, windows, etc.), issuing keyboard output, and issuing mouse activity. Any activity a
user can do can be automated and replicated.
“Based on the unmatched testing accuracy provided by CitraTest, for the first time,
the enterprise can automate the testing and measure the overall response times of their Progress
applications before going live, allowing them to ensure quality and perform to service level
