Objectives

To provide academic and professional training in the specialization in education of educators. It
is expected the achievement of: acquaintance with theoretical and methodological approaches
and their relations; qualifications to analyze the educational situations in its diverse dimensions;
capacity to analyze one’s own teaching trajectory and the implications of trainers and trainees
on it; specific skills for the analysis of research in the area; capacity to work as specialists in the
area; ability to generate reflexive, innovative, and critical proposals for planning, execution and
evaluation of training projects and practices.

Syllabus

The topics to be developed are grouped into three cores that answer the main problems which
educators of educators need to know about, critically reflect on, analyze and get training in.
A. Problems of education
Seminars: 1. Introductory cycle. 2. Pedagogy of education. 3. The situation of education. 4.
Policies and systems of education.
B. Teaching mechanisms and techniques.
1. Seminar-workshop: Teaching groups (two compulsory workshops per student, to be chosen
among six that will be offered in the program). Seminar. Workshop 1 and 2.
2. Seminar-workshop: Technology in teaching (Workshop 1 and 2)
3. Optional workshops: Teaching projects ( there will be workshops for each of the three areas
of teaching). Evaluation of teaching projects. Analysis of training practices. Institutional
evaluation of teaching. Internship: Level 1: Observation of teaching practices. Level 2:
Observation, execution and evaluation of practices. Reflection groups (four levels). Tutoring.

Objectives

The main aim of the course is to promote the various flexible communicative and cognitive
competences which are appropriate for the performance of different practices and new social
demands.
The course’s objectives are to provide training in the design, execution and evaluation of
pedagogic project in the area of writing and reading; to provide advice to educational institutions
of different levels; to advice on the elaboration of didactic materials; to coordinate reading and
writing workshops in the different levels of formal education and in the various instances of non-
formal education

Syllabus

A. Seminars: First term: Cognitive models of comprehension and production of written
texts. Textual models. Social practices of reading and writing. Second term: Teaching
and learning processes through oral interaction. Textual genesis and genetic criticism.
Narrating. Third term: Reading and writing processes in small children. Theory of
argumentation. Fourth term: Problematic of linguistic contact in education. Theory of
interpretation.
B. Workshops students must choose two workshops: Workshop on reading and writing in
primary school. Workshop on reading and writing in adolescents and adults. Workshop

Objectives

For students to:
Understand the multiple approaches and perspectives from political, social, cultural,
psychological, pedagogic and didactic dimensions that will allow them to characterize children
education.
Recognize problematic, contradictions, contemporary breaks and continuities and their
incidence in children education.
Resignify the conceptions of childhood and family and their relations with educational and social
institutions.
Analyze critically and build problematic and proposals in which macro social and micro
institutional influences and institutional educational practices are articulated.
Acquire a theoretical background that will allow them to coordinate, sustain, supervise and
evaluate projects and practices developed in educational institutional and social organizations.

To provide professional qualifications specialized in Argentine history to university graduates
who work or wish to work in the area of history.
Taking this general objective into consideration, the objectives of all the areas of knowledge are:
a. For students to have access to the analysis and discussion of the new theoretical
alternatives, the new debates and most recent lines of research developed i the historic and
graphic production
b. For students to get training in the analysis of specific problems of Argentine history,
particularly, those in which research has proved more dynamic lately.

To ensure a specific training in the analysis and comprehension of the discursive dimension of
those activities, behaviors and products in which languages play a predominant role, and to
make the articulation of textual productions with social and historic factors explicit.
To provide specialized training in Discourse Analysis and train students with excellence for
research, teaching and professional development in such area, so that they will be able to work
efficiently in those fields that require experts in Discourse Analysis.

To provide instruments that will allow students to carry out socio cultural diagnosis to contribute
to the design of public policies, the management of projects and the academic research.

Objectives
To create a confine of interdisciplinary nature for the study and research of the different
problems concerning the Greek and Roman world.
To favor the access to the Greek and Roman culture and increase the interest in it through the
study and interpretation of its most relevant manifestations
To endow students with adequate theoretical and methodological instruments that permit to
ensure a specific training in the disciplines that deal with the classical world.
To prepare students for a professional performance both in research and teaching and in the
activities connected to transference and spread of information, with the aim of nourishing the
university and scientific system of our country in the areas which the MA is concerned with.
To foster in students the acquisition of knowledge of the areas that concern their study and also
the development of the capacity to use critical thinking when approaching the specific problems
of Classical Studies.

The MA has a first common cycle and two orientations: a ) in classical culture; and b) in
classical philology.
