Establishing shot of tall building. The following

INT. FEY AND CO LAW OFFICES - NIGHT
The opening scene is the murder scene. MIA FEY is having a
conversation with REDD WHITE. WHITE is sitting down,
speaking calmly and smug. MIA is walking around during the
conversation, acting confident but slightly nervous.
WHITE
Ms Fey. I know you know what I
require of you.
MIA
I do not know what you know.
Please tell me, White.
WHITE
The papers, Ms Fey. I know
they're here.
MIA
I have some in my second drawer.
But they say "From the desk of
Ms. Mia Fey: Attorney at Law"
which might make it a bit
confusing if somebody reads it.
WHITE
Ms Fey, white-out will solve the
problem. "Ms Mia Fey: Attorney at
Law" can easily be replaced with
"Mr Redd White: Bluecorp CEO" The
papers I am
alludicating to are
the ones behind that poster. The
poster of the movie. The first
one to make you cry.
MIA
(Flinches)
H-how did you know?
WHITE
Information, Ms Fey. A certain
acquaintance of mine told me
about it.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED:

MIA
What!? But only a few people know
where it is! Who told you?
WHITE
Ms Fey. Please. I am a busy man,
with business to attend to.
(Smug laugh)
WHITE walks over to a framed poster on the wall. He pulls
it off and breaks it on his leg. He rips out some paper
hidden behind the picture.
MIA
Damn you, White!
WHITE
(Smug laugh)
Oh, Ms Fey. I am so very sorry,
but I'm going to have to be
requestiling one more thing of
you.
WHITE picks up a pocket knife on the table that is
engraved with "Mia Fey" on it.
Your eternal silence...
He flips out a knife and raises it.
Farewell, Ms Fey.
Terror is on MIA's face. She runs to a corner of the room
and covers her face to defend herself.
MIA
Wait! White! Who told you?
WHITE
Well, I suppose you do deserve an
explanation. It is somebody
you're very close to. Somebody
who has access to this office.
Somebody who is very alive and
happy right now. Somebody who has
betrayed you.
MIA
B-betrayed? Who? Who betrayed me?
WHITE
Ms Mia. That would be a conflict
of interest. I can't divulge that
information.
MIA
White!? Please!
(CONTINUED)

WHITE
Very well. It was-
WHITE's eyes grow very large. He is outrageously shocked
and a tear falls from his eye. He falls ontop of MIA and
is revealed to have a knife in his back with a very
distinct blade. MIA looks up and gets hit in the face by a
gloved hand. The asailant remains unknown.
