I am a professional photographer that specializes in shooting event, architectural, and
automotive photography. Born in Columbia, Maryland, I grew up working towards a degree in
Mechanical Engineering through high school and my ﬁrst year of college at Virginia Tech.
Having always enjoyed the technical while appreciating details, I decided to transfer into a
degree for photography at the end of my spring 2007 semester at Virginia Tech. Columbia
College Chicago was a proper ﬁt, as urban life always stimulated my mind, and penetrated my

In September 2009, began shooting automotive/event coverage photography for
GVA Architects, INC; Columbia, MD − 2007-Present
Have worked with George Vaeth Associates to photograph various projects, and present them
with a ﬁnal imaging product for use in their portfolio and website.
Intern, Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab; Laurel, MD −2005-2006
Interned in the Avery Laboratory wind tunnel testing facility in Johns Hopkins APL during
senior year of high school. Performed work on testing models, and materials research.

I am currently skilled in shooting digitally (both Canon and Nikon DSLR systems), and with
various formats of ﬁlm, including (but not
limited to) most Polaroid systems, 35mm ﬁlm, medium format / Hasselblad systems, and 4x5
view camera systems. With ﬁlm, I am capable of shooting both slide and negative ﬁlms, as
well as proﬁcient in how to scan these ﬁlms on Imacon scan systems. I’m also completely
competent in most of the Adobe CS4 Design Premium Suite, namely Dreamweaver,
Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
