Document Description
Animal cruelty does not only affect the animal and the abuser but also society in general. It increases the cost of living through higher taxes used to remove dead animal’s bodies from public places, care for animals in animal shelters, euthanization of animals that have not been adopted, and other costs associated with the removal of stray or abused animals.
