C H A M P I O N / D A T A / I S S U E 1
Hi and welcome to the first edition of the Fantasy Freako’s rave for 2010. Like last year, each week we will dedicate a page to all 16 clubs as well as a
feature each week as seen on this page. Important stats such as (TOG) and AFL Dream Teams points per minute will once again be included each week,
as they will become crucial once you begin trading. One thing to look out for in next week’s edition is Freako’s “buy” and “sell” wrap, as we look to bring
form players in or offload those that haven’t cut the mustard yet. Remember the advice from “Team Director” in the 2010 Prospectus? Sell High, buy low.
BEST VALUE FOR YOUR BUCK
Picking a player that gives you a good reward for your investment is extremely advantageous. But who has the time to sit down and work out exactly
what our players are producing for us. I have taken the liberty of doing such an analysis with the value picks from this season, with the results outlined
in the below table. It’s no surprise that two rookies head the list, with Michael Barlow and Ben Howlett giving us the best value for our dollar. Despite
Barlow costing you $28,000 more than Howlett, he’s clearly the best value pick after Round 1 costing us $827 per point scored on the weekend.

against Melbourne, finishing with 17 disposals, six marks
against them last season.
