Software as a service (SaaS) within the enterprise application software market is a huge market. In fact last year it hovered around the
figure of $9.2 billion. Gartner predicts an amazing growth for SaaS this year of garnering revenues of a whopping amount of $10.7 billion,
a more than 15% jump from the figures of last year. Popularly defined by Gartner as "software that is owned, delivered and managed
remotely by one or more providers", SaaS as the research firm sees it, is "based on a single set of common code and data definitions, which
is consumed in a one-to-many model by all contracted customers anytime on a pay-for-use basis, or as a subscription based on use
metrics." SaaS applications market is only set to grow by leaps and bounds this year.
Companies to survive in this fiercely competitive world need to ensure that they employ only the great processes that can offer optimized
functional capabilities to their day to day working. To ensure that, enterprises opt for the best available software in the market and SaaS
