INT. ABANDONED OLD ROOM -– NIGHT
We open on Darkness, It is still.
We hear a ticking that leads to a click, activating a singular light
within the room revealing SARAH ANDERSON. She is 31 years old, with
long, dark hair and tattoos on her arms.
She lies unconscious on a large, metallic table within the middle of
the room. The table has several gears and motors underneath it
although it is unclear what there use is. Above her head is some
kind of steel plate.
She awakens with a sudden jolt. Panicked she begins to struggle from
her situation trying to get up although she cannot as her legs and
arms are restrained to the table. Whilst moving she almost hits her
head off of the plate. She looks around the room.
Help! Help me! Shit!
A television set sitting on top of an old, hospital chest is sitting
near the table. It flickers on revealing the familiar image of the
Billy puppet. A voice crackles, it is JIGSAW.
Hello Sarah. I want to play a game.

Sarah listens intently to the tape, as soon as it finishes the tv
flickers to white noise, then black.
The steel plate above her face is now red hot, causing her to sweat.
To further prove that this is no joke, the timer on the wall begins
to count down from 1:00 as the mechanics on the table begin to power
Sarah becomes extremely frightened as the clock continues to count
down, 0:51 – still trapped.
She looks at the hot plate cautiously whilst still trying to
manually release her restraints to no avail.
She begins to sob, realising what she will have to do to be
released, to be free.
She moves her face to the plate, placing a little of her face
slightly close to it, she jolts back at the pain of the burning
The clock continues to countdown.
The table begins to fold.
Sarah tries once more to place her face onto the hot plate, this
time she achieves a degree of success, holding her face onto the
plate. The room is filled with the sound of screams and burning
However, she cannot take the pain and pulls back before the switch
is activated. Her face is already horribly burned.
The clock enters the last few digits and still she is not free
although she is in a great deal of pain.
Once more, she tries to press the plate but cannot.
The timer hits zero.
The table with relative ease folds, subsequently folding Sarah
silencing her forever. Blood pours from the seams of the table onto
the concrete floor below.
Sarah is dead.
INT. SUNNYSIDE INSTITUTION -- NIGHT
We got a live one.
We are re-introduced to the swat team from SAW 3D as they continue
their sweep of the asylum.
They are extremely focused and efficient as they clear each room,
getting closer and closer to the commotion that they can hear –
screaming and loud metallic noises.
The Swat team come to a passageway – a small room with nothing but a
table and a television set. The room is filled with blood. Sitting
on the table amidst the pool of blood are two teeth, freshly ripped
from a mouth.
INT. FURNACE ROOM – NIGHT
The swat team enter the room to discover another grisly scene. They
discover BOBBY DAGEN lying in a pool of his own blood on the floor,
crying whilst JOYCE’S body lies inside the furnace, she is dead.
Bobby is distraught as a swat member goes to his aid. The swat
surrounds the room, locking it down. The swat leader tries to get a
response from the station with no success.
Get an ambulance here, now.
The radio he holds in his hands comes to life, responding to his

INT. SUBURBAN BEDROOM -- NIGHT
In this suburban bedroom a man sleeps peacefully in bed.
Outside, sirens can be heard in the distance, wailing as they rush
towards some tragic incident.
A phone rings. The figure in bed stirs. He picks himself up reaches
for the phone. It is the police Chief from Saw 5, PHILIP MASON.
Yes?... I’ll be right there.
He jumps from his bed and immediately begins to get changed.
EXT. POLICE STATION -- NIGHT
The police station.
Police cars and unmarked cars surround it with officers running in
and out of the building in a panic, some weapons drawn, searching
Ambulances also show up with their sirens almost drowning out the
sound of chatter between officers.
INT. POLICE STATION, JIGSAW EVIDENCE ROOM -- NIGHT
Jill Tuck’s corpse sits in a chair. A deadly contraption on her now
ripped open head. She is clearly dead.
Inside the hallways the carnage is dreadful. More than a handful of
police officers are dead. Mason stands to the door of the Evidence
room examining the scene whilst FISK examines the officers in the
corridors and the bodies being wheeled away.
He has a moment of dread, shame and fear.
This is unbelievable.
This isn’t the half of it. I’ve just got
Reports of Gibson and Swat being gunned
Down and more deaths at the Cleardawn Institution.

INT. MASON’S OFFICE -- NIGHT
Mason walks into his office. Sits at his desk and picks up his
phone. He dials.

INT. HOSPITAL OFFICE – NIGHT
A light flickers on as Doctor Gordon Enters his office, he is still
wearing his large black coats and gloves.
He removes these items and looks out of his window. From behind, his
wife ALISON enters, looking nervous.
Gordon turns around.
Ali? What are you doing here at this time?
It’s not safe, haven’t you seen the news?
INT APARTMENT -- NIGHT
How can you just walk through

INT. HOPSTIAL OFFICE -- NIGHT

She throws divorce papers onto the desk. Doctor Gordon moves towards
them, picks them up and reads briefly each page. He looks at her.

INT. UNDERGROUND TUNNELS – NIGHT
Doctor Gordon crawls down the corridor, each pull coming closer and
closer to death.
He reaches the hot pipe, revealing his bloody stump he forces it
onto the pipe, cauterising the wound.
John comes to his aid. Giving him fresh water.
Congratulations Doctor Gordon,
Doctor Gordon passes out. John begins to drag him again.
INT. SECRET ROOM -- NIGHT
John lays Doctor Gordon on a bed. The room is somewhere in the
underground tunnels and appears to just be John’s. It is his
personal items that scatter the room. Including images of Hoffman
He lifts the trouser leg of Doctor Gordon and begins to sterilise
During this time Doctor Gordon comes in and out of consciousness as
he screams in agony and mumbles about his wife, daughter, and Adam.
John finishes as Doctor Gordon once again loses consciousness. He
leaves, locking the door behind him.
INT. SECRET ROOM – NIGHT
We hear a heart rate monitor. It has a steady beep.
Doctor Gordon’s eyes open, they focus on the room and the figure
sitting by his bedside. He looks around. Confused.
He looks around to John. Recognises him.
INT. HOSPITAL WAITING ROOM – DAY
John waits anxiously in the waiting room. He is called in by a
nurse. He sighs and walks into the office. The sign on the door
outside reads DOCTOR GORDON
INT. SECRET ROOM -- NIGHT
I believe I owe you an explanation. Firstly, your family
