Google and other search engines keep on updating itself. These search engines are smarter
than we thought.
2. It takes 1 year or couple of months to see results. Well, this solely depends on the
competition you got for a certain keyword (composed of words that people will key-in right
into the search engine box). If you got 20,000 searches for a keyword you want to be on
the #1 spot, then you have higher chances to be successful on your quest. You will see
results in a matter of weeks or a month.
However, if there are about 200,000,000 searches on the keyword you want to be on top
with, then it would take months or even a year to succeed especially when your website is
new.
3. The more links, the better. This is a misconception. It should be further classified as
quality links. Quality in the sense that it is not spamming (just putting links anywhere even
if it does not make any sense at all). One concrete example of this is you are selling LCD
TV's and you are scattering your website's link to different blogs even if what the theme is
way not related to LCD T.V. You are putting links on blogs talking about dolls, farms, barns,
etc. Do you see the point, now?
