The Myth Of The Great Polyp
by Seth Moris - http://evolution.spruz.com
In the beginning, there was nothing but The Hole and The Big Drink. No
one knows where the Big Drink came from, because it predated everything,
even the Great Anemone.
One day, a tiny speck of something came out of The Hole In The Big Drink
and it became The Great Anemone. The Anemone existed for billions of
years, and did nothing but chant its mantra.
" "
Then, one day, the Anemone created gender neutral spirits and gender
neutral souls to inhabit The Big Drink with it, because it lacked
stimuli and it was bothered by this fact. You see, the Great Anemone is
both loving, and indifferent.
The spirits and souls existed in harmony for many thousands of years,
and the Great Anemone God said "This is good for me".
Then one day, a strange feeling overtook the Sea Anemone God. It was
filled with Hunger. It took in no sustenance from the souls, spirits, or
water. All of which simply floated around and through the God. So,
looking around at The Big Drink, the Anemone God saw The Hole, which it
had never noticed before as it was behind the God. The Great Polyp
reached inside in its hunger-craze and used what it found inside to make
physical bodies for the souls, but not the spirits, for the souls were
the favorite of the Polyp (in its loving nature) and it housed them in
flesh, as the First.
Then it devoured half of them, and then the other half starved, and the
spirits were very upset by this. They hadn't been chosen to have bodies.
The souls of course went back to swimming around the Big Drink, happy
that they had possessed bodies, even for a short while, though while in
the bodies they had no memory of being incorporeal.
The Anemone was full, and it was good. And all existed as it had, for
billions of years.
Then, one day, the Great Polyp once again became hungry. But this time,
1

learnings its lesson (For it is wise and logical) it reached into The
Hole and with what it found it crafted Land, and Sky, and Space, and it
was good. These were the first Pets of The Great Anemone, and it loved
them in its indifferent way.
Little did The Great Anemone know, that when it created those things,
and thought about them, it gave them life. Three great spirits grew out
of/ into the lands. Space, Land, and Sky became alive.
Then The Great Anemone built ecosystems across the world, outside,
around and inside the Big Drink (which is the most Holy of places). It
then put the souls, its beloved, inside the physical shells and gave
them animation. It then devoured half of all of them.
Space, however, because it was sent most far away from The Big Drink and
The Great Anemone God, had hate and disobedience in its heart. Every
time The Great Anemone would put creatures in its domain, it would kill
them off, and send the souls directly back. The Anemone is slow to act,
and it is indifferent and it is loving, so Space remains.
After devouring the creatures, it returned to its happy indifference,
and to its love of everything.
However, the spirits were not happy. They had again not been given
corporeal bodies, and Space said to them "Go now, unto the creatures and
influence the bacteria and make them cause illness, go now unto the
lands and clouds and plates and make them rumble and cause death and
destruction, and go and influence the humans and make them ill of the
mind and make them use their great power to rape and sicken my triplet
Earth and triplet Sky so that The Anemone God can not have food to slake
its hunger when it awake. And this shall be Good" And upon hearing this,
the spirits did just that.
And so we remain here now, waiting, until the day the Great Anemone God
looks our way with love, and stops the spirits.
Amen.
