"What is my contribution in
independent india?"
After going through a long period of suppression and depression in all aspects we attained our Independence.
With freedom comes a lots of responsibilities and I believe in accepting all these responsibilities. I know my
rights and even the duties that are attached to it.
There is a large difference between commenting about a cricket match from the audience block and actually
being on the field and contributing for the team. Similarly I have a belief of coming up and changing the
things, though my contacts are not to any of Political Parties, big people or ministers. I don't even need any
of them. My support requires only masses and the common people. I am spreading my message through
social networking sites like FACEBOOK and collect people for a common cause. I believe that a very big
and serious social agenda right now is CORRUPTION and I ask people to be aware of it and do not become
a part of this dirty game. The word which I am relying upon is "AWARENESS". The entire idea is to form a
community of people and make them aware of corruption. The only entry fees that will be needed is the
honesty and truthfulness which will be submitted in the bank of heart and will be accessed through the
activities.
I have just initiated towards this social cause and have a long way to go but my interest always lies in making
people aware and ask them to make others aware. This is just my first step and I have more plans and ideas
that I want to implement once I am able to cultivate the feeling of Nationality and humanity amongst all.
I Would like to express myself through my lines :
"I have a plan To make you all human
My intensions are clear and I have no fear
I want to raise my voice no matter it is considered as noise
I need your help in this fight and I am sure this is right".
I will go on enhancing my efforts in creating awareness in my small way as my contribution to
Free India.

"What is my contribution in
independent india?"
The first heavenly blessing, Independence! Its been 63 years now that India become Independent. The
struggle was not easy at all. It was in return to death, destruction and isolation that India finally attained
Independence on the precious day, 15th August, 1947. Since independence cost this much to us, I, as a
sincere citizen contribute as much as I can do to our independent country at my level. Even after ages of
independence, still, Indians are ruled! Though not by foreign authorities but within India, Indians are slave
to Indians only! What worst can be, that we have to be ruled by our people itself. In a way, it keeps India still
ruled. The day we realize the difference in holding a hand and `Changing a Soul' is when India would literally
become Independent. To me, even small- small contribution by `Us' can make a difference. To at my level
I try putting a stop to all evil happening around me. Child labour, child marriage, molestation, harassment
and every other crime exists in this INDEPENDENT country. Is this what our country deserves in return? Have
you, ever questioned yourselves and asked are WE really worth it if it goes on this way! I still remember the
day when I complained against my neighbour for labour work by a child of mere 9 years, the day when I
protested against it and begged all to not just let it go. That's not we are supposed to do to our country and
ignoring it all happening before our eyes is even worse. I try my best to not let even little crimes to happen
at my age and will continue being a good citizen of my country. Spreading awareness, protesting and every
utter thing possible for me for giving MY INDIA what it deserves NO matter if it is not enough but it's drop by
drop only that an ocean is made. Nothing can be stopped by just IGNORANCE. We need to do more not
for us but for our `country'. We cannot wait for others to do it, we need to start with `Us'. No doubts we are
Independent but with wings of Independence did come roots of responsibilities to us. We need to eradicate
violence, hunger, fights, poverty and all to bring the difference and give Independence its literal meaning
and to prove we are true Indians who are worth attaining Independence. In the end, just a few lines to let you
know we are not yet doing the much our country deserves, there is much more left to be done.
" As I turn up the collar of
My favorite winter coat,
This wind is blowing my mind
I see the kids from the street
Not enough to eat
Who am I to be proud
Pretending not to see their needs
A willow deeply scared!
Somebody's broken heart and a one man soul
They follow the pattern of the wind you know cause they have got no where to go
That is why I am starting with me."

"What is my contribution in
independent india?"
If our forefather's were to visit the motherland, they will be shocked to see the present scenario of today's
independent India. Citizens of India become mean as far as humanity is concerned. Rape, murder, terrorism,
fraud is on high-rise. People of India are so extremely busy in earning capitals that they are slowly loosing
the responsibility towards the country i.e. mother India.
As far as I am concerned, I proudly say that I have contributed in independent India. Golden ape a very
rare and endangered species found only in south central part of Assam and on the foothills of Bhutan, are
on the verge of extinction. Since, I belong from Assam I volunteered to take initiative in preserving one of
india's pride. I worked with forest department in collaboration with NGO group. Though I was a beginner but
I delivered my hundred percent that was possible for one. Census, food, habits and mating programmes
were discussed. After a year of gap, the hard work came up with flying colors. There was an enormous
increase in the number of golden apes and the mortality rate decreased too.
The joy and happiness that I achieved was enormous for me to handle. The recognition and enthusiasm I
got was one of the finest moment in my life. Then I became an active member of state forest service. Apart
from contribution to wild life I have catered in smooth functioning of common wealth games that were held
recently in Delhi. I was selected as a catering member in the international event, where I stood with fame,
proud and glory. There were many international and national sports persons, VIP, VVIPs, executives and
much more. I personally felt that I had shown and proved that Indians are known for their hospitality. The
opening and closing ceremony was absolutely beautiful and these two moments were the chance to show
our potentials.
If light is thrown on social issues i can proudly say that I have donated blood for the thalesemic patients
many times or whenever needed. I have even actively participated in AIDS control society of India. It is a very
major issue that India is leading in number of AIDS patient. I tried my level best to impart knowledge about
AIDS and good health that was taught to me during the trainings.
Being a citizen of India I can proudly say under no influence that I have contributed to independent India
and I look to deliver more in future. I request and urge other people to become aware of their responsibilities
towards motherland. India has great potential to rise to the zenith leaving all countries behind and it is
possible only if we tend to volunteer.

"What is my contribution in
independent india?"
In context of thinking this topic " What my country gave me, what I have contributed for my independent
country". Today we are living in an Independent country for gaining this independence many people contributed
their life time struggle and their everything.
we are now independent. As a citizen of india I contributed my first vote to elect a responsible government last
year. India is my country and I oath to contribute my everything for it. As a responsible citizen I pledge to vote
without any discrimination, as a student I pledge to make aware of the myself our fundamental rights and as
an Indian I contribute my devotion and patriotism towards my country.
I contributed my country by spreading brotherhood , peace and harmony. I always tend to spread the message
that " We are Indian" we should not believe in the religions that are man made concepts. They are made by
politicians only. Religion is on one hand and our country is on the other hand and we must work for the sake of
our country without making any difference in cast, colour, sex and the religion. I have contributed this massage
to my country by writing articles making and distributing phamplates.
Al to me, our country india is a `Golden Necklace' and we al Indians are like ` Central Diamond' of that
necklace.
One of my contribution in Independent India is that I strickly opposed caste system untouchbility and race
system. I belong to a smal town in uttrakhand, where the evils like untouchability, race system and caste
system are stil in practice. In year 2008, I strickly opposed this system by staying one night in a `Dalit's' family.
Many people tried to stop me but I did not care about them. They cut off me from their society but I was not
dipressed because I was right, not only this I also opposed untouchability when I asked a lower caste girl to
`Tie a Rakhi' on my hand during last Rakshabandhen.
These were some of my contributions in my country I thought only one person is not enough to create awareness
in the society then I joined UKD (Uttrakhand Kranti Dal) in 2009 with the help of some other people, the main
motive of UKD is to remove evils like the system of unrouchability , caste system and sex discrimination.
Recently I got engaged with one NGO in Uttrakhand that helps poor people, students and the farmers to cope
with the hindrances of daily life.
At last in my contributions I did something that I sil think that it must be done much earlier, In March 2010, I
reported the office of child and Human Right Office that a doctor in our colony was famous for predicting the
gender of baby in the womb that is in human activity I complaint Human right office and a NGO that the doctor
is engaged in female foeticide as a result the doctor was put behind the bars and his licence was cancel ed.
These above were my contributions for my country, I hope and I pledge for my country that I wil always serve
my county.
Overal my contributions in my country are:
Fighting against evils like untouchasility, caste system, race system.
Creating awareness about gender discrimination.
Working for upliftment of poor students, farmers via NGO.
By spreading slogan ` Don't think what my country give me instead think what I give to my country.'

"What is my contribution in
independent india?"
Today it's the happiest day for celebration because its "INDEPENDENCE DAY", a day of honor prestige
and freedom. India has changed in every kind of fields be it sports development or sexual bias. India has
not only developed but her views have also changed. After Independence the our of freedom has blown
not only to free us from British rule but also it has burdened us in our thoughts. It's an honor to be a part of
country like India.
My contribution towards my motherland, my country is that I took part in national literacy mission by
enlighting the candle of literacy or by making 1-2 person literate. by giving them their right which they
deserve. Education is born right of every citizen also contributed them with a handful of knowledge; I had
which is everyone's duty towards their motherland. Till now in our Independent India there are ample of
people whole think that education, women's development, girl education is orthodox. But being a youngster
my 1st duty is to make people aware of their born rights. I want to make my country people liberal. In today's
world no one cannot exist with "syrup" of "education" be it male or Female. In order to become good human
being, parents, guide education is must. Without it our life is like a stop watch, similarly without education
our life is empty. So despite of accepting this fact that our country is liberal I would like to make it free of
from the clutches of ignorance
So, after all my writing I did my duty by lighting I one candle of education, liberating one citizen of our
country. This is my contribution towards my mother land.

"What is my contribution in
independent india?"
Indian Independence:- India got its independence with lots and lots of effort , with some sacrifices by
dividing nation and by boycott of many things . We (Indians) got independence on 15th August 1947.
Independence which we got was the hardest nut to crack right under the nose of British government. Many
people like Mahatma Gandhi Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad were many leaders
who contributed their whole life to get Independence. Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev sacrificed their life
for independence.
Now the question is "What have I Contributed in Independent India.
Some time I want to ask this question to the politicians that what you have done and the only answer will
come which is "Corruption"
I think I have not contributed something special, but gave encouragement to corruption, I get it done with
my driving license by giving bribe to Dalal as if you went with govt procedure you have to wait in long que
to get it. But Dalal makes it in few seconds.
I think we have not done anything good after independence as our freedom fitters died for independence
and we are only making money for ourself by leading this independence to degradation.
Bal Gangadhar Tilak said very well :-FREEDOM IS MY BIRTH RIGHT and I will have it , but now the slogan
is changed by the politicians now Govt has adopted this to corruption is my birth right and I will have it. This
is what we are we giving tour independent India.
At some instances me too gave bribe so that I could escape the procedure. and surprisingly the govt
employees take bribe easily and make us sure that our work will be done .
There were some negative points which I have shown to you but I have few good things which could be
added for the contribution of Independent Indian.
I gave tuitions to govt school children free of cost as teachers in Govt School are not ready to concentrate on
children. I stopped giving bribe as I thought I am helping corruption. I even attended Teach India Programme.
I always clean my premises to make sure it look good and people do the same, I worked on skit competition.
In the end, I want to say I did many mistakes in the past but now I want to contribute more then earlier .
Infuture I would like to represent India to all over the world as a corruption free poverty free and with full of
energy and enthusiasm.

"What is my contribution in
independent india?"
It's been 63 years since India got independence from British who ruled us for about 200 years. And the face
of India has changed a lot in these 63 years. We all have contributed something to this independent India
in some way & so have I.
My contribution may not have affected on a changed scene but yes to some extent it have my contribution
to our India and it started at the time I was born. Yes, because I contributed in women power. I was born
as girl, so it's a great timing and I am proud of it. Then I contributed when I was admitted to school. It's
because I was going to be contributing in literacy rate of India. and when I grew up, we were asked to teach
our servants or some other illiterate people. Where I again made some contribution in literacy rate. While
teaching those illiterate people, we also contributed in lowering the rate of female feticide and population
as we also taught them the advantage and disadvantages of these issues. I even saved the environment
by many activities done by us in our school days, and now when I am growing up, I am doing all I could
do to brush off poverty from our country like, I and some of my friends went out to make the beggars
understand that working would help them better not begging. And some actually did understand what we
said. Child labor which is a very big crime was also done by my parents and when I learned about it I asked
my parents to let him leave the job. Though it was difficult for me to make them understand, yet I did, yet
another incident took place when I was a teen ager. It was related to Patriotism and love for our country. At
this time most of the people were forgetting their own country and adopting new cultures and traditions.
I participated in Republic day Camp ` 09 which changed my thoughts and my love for our country . This
literally changed my mind and gave me power to change the set of mind of other people also I some how
contributed in making the people realize the importance of their own country which was my best and most
important contribution to independent India.
In 19 years of my life I have positively contributed to independent India a little. Which is a good contribution
because if everybody tries to contribute at least this much our country will be the best country of the world

"What is my contribution in
independent india?"
"India is my country & all Indians re my brothers and sisters."
We all have taken this pledge in our growing years of school. It means that we belong to our country. Country
is related to us. So, its our duty to develop a sense of belongingness for our nation in the same way as we
belong & relate with our family.
I, as a responsible citizen of India believe that I have contributed to independence of my country "India" by
being effective in my duty towards my country, ie. by following the traffic rules, laws and social obligations
of a responsible citizen of the country.
Independence is truly achieved only when each and every citizen of the country feels free and independent
in their life. Therefore, its important for us to lead our life not as a slave but as a free spirit who is independent
to touch its own height in life. For this I always see to it that me and my family achieve our goals in a positive
manner so that we all excel in our life and this individual excellence will surely contribute in grooming the
overall excellence of my country.
I also try to free my near and dear ones from any kind of internal bondage and blockage that they feel exist
within them and prevent them from exceeding in their work or vision. I do this because I strongly believe that
when citizens will be free from the bondages they will all contribute their best for the country and the country
will lead inturn.
Many of my friends and fellow citizens feel that what can they individually contribute to such a big and
versatile nation. For them my message is that contribution need not to start on a large scale but can also be
effectively achieved by taking several small steps by the individuals of the nation. Its rightly said: "several
drops create an ocean"
This means that we can all contribute in keeping the flame of independence ignited by small steps taken
by us in our daily routine. Independence is lost, the moment we start being slave of others will, so we must
always be the listener of our thoughts then only the flowering colors of ideas will prevail in the nation.
The small steps which I personally take for keeping the flame of independence ignited within me is by
listening to my will power, abiding by the rules and regulation of India, practicing my fundamental rights
and standing against injustice in my daily life, never indulging in bribing the employees of the govt. of india,
avoiding the wastage of my country's resources by switching of lights when not in use, avoiding wastage of
water so that my country does not face scarcity of these recourses, so on and so forth.
The best way to contribute towards the independence of India is by achieving the independence within
ourselves. So never stand low in your own eyes, stand against the injustice done to you and just held your
head high and walk against all the odds of the society.
"Free yourself, free your society. The country will automatically be free and independent"
Hence this was all I do to water the plant of independent India and I am sure that the day when every citizen
will start doing so the plant will flower the sweet fruits for the free spirits of the citizens of India.
