What is the difference between a manual and automatic label dispenser?

Label dispenser is generally used for labeling the information of the product on the product
bottle or packets. The information which is seen on product is ingredients, manufacturing date,
expiry date, MRP, batch no, bar code, nutrition value chart and manufacturer name and
address. Label dispensers are categorized into two parts - manual and automatic. You must be
wondering which dispenser should be brought for your industry. Here’s the solution, both the
will be seeing about manual label dispenser.
Manual label dispenser:
Manual labeling is done either by label candies or hand - held or table top applicator. All these
label dispensers are light weight and portable to carry from place to other. The label candies
are utilized for labeling because it can hold many rolls at one time. The hand - held are very
helpful for labeling on the whole bottle. As the name says the table top dispenser are used for
labeling a particular product on the table. These are generally helpful only at small scale
industries.

The advantages of manual labeling dispenser are:
 These are light weight and can carry any where.
 It is very useful in small scale industries.
 Maintenance of labeling is inexpensive.

The disadvantages of manual labeling dispenser are:
 These are time consuming and lot of labor work.
 There is lot of wastage and rejection of material.
 The product doesn’t have proper finishing.
 There is a chance for the labels to get dirty while labeling.
Automatic label dispensers are divided into many categories. For example fully automatic
dispenser, sticker dispenser, semi automatic dispenser, warps round labeling machines and
many more. Fully automatic and semi automatic are in great demand than the other
dispensers.
The main advantages of label dispenser are:
 The labeling is done in short period of time and doesn’t require much labor.
 This dispenser last long and maintenance are quite simple.
 Most of the time there is no wastage because it is fully operated by the
machines.
 It is quite expensive but gives a lot of profit later.
 The label doesn’t get dirty nor has oil spot on it.
 It also are helpful in labeling the bar code directly from the dispenser where as
you need to create the bar code for manual dispenser.
 It almost gives forty pieces of finished product in a minute and voltage
fluctuation is less.
The disadvantages of label dispenser are:
 These are heavy and are fixed at once place. You can’t move from table to table
like you do in manual dispenser.
