Krooks LLP has been named Co-Chairperson of the Special Needs Planning Committee of the Elder Law
Section of the New York State Bar Association. This Committee educates and assists practitioners in the area of
special needs planning. Their mission is to increase the understanding of legal issues that affect those
individuals with special needs.
Adrienne has also been named Co-Chairperson of the Lawyering and Parenting Committee of the Westchester
Women's Bar Association.
Her practice focuses on special needs planning for families of children with disabilities, special education
advocacy, and guardianship. As a parent of a special needs child, she understands the importance of assisting
families in obtaining appropriate services for children with special needs and assisting families plan for the future
by setting up supplemental needs trusts.
