court to face a wrongful death lawsuit.

The 48-year-old man charged with first-degree murder in the death of a woman he was seen arguing with, hit her
with his truck, after almost backing up over her, and then dragged her several hundred yards before she fell

When the man did not show up in court to answer charges for this murder, the judge issued a warrant for his
arrest. "And this is where this story takes a 180 degree turn to the very bizarre. On court day, a friend of the man
placed a phone call to the police, indicating a friend of his had gone to the man's house and found a note on the
gate to not enter the property and to call his best buddy," Smith said.
The friend did as he was told and called the man's best buddy, who headed over to the man's home, only to
find him slumped over in a help by a vehicle, dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. There was also a note
that outlined the man's last wishes. The best buddy was stunned beyond reason to find his friend dead, telling
police that the dead man was a "drama queen" and that no one expected him to actually kill himself.
This left the four children of the dead woman having to decide whether or not to file a wrongful death lawsuit,
since the accused man had committed suicide. In the final analysis, they chose to move forward and file a
wrongful death lawsuit against the man's estate, hoping to bring justice to their dead mother and some measure
of peace to their lives.
The verdict in that case will likely be an award for the four children left behind to face life without their mother.
