AHMADI GIRL’S INCREDIBLE EDUCATIONAL FEAT
Rabwah, Dec 2010: Ahmadi girl Sitara Brooj Akbar,
from Rabwah, made our jammaat proud by sitting for
Oxford University syndi-cated O’ Level exams in Biology
and becoming the youngest per-son in history to have
passed it.
As the article elaborates, Sitara had a tough time in
school asking her teachers challenging and prob-ing
questions. In addition, it seems that she faced some
challenges sitting for the examination as Paki-stani high
school matriculation examination (an equivalent
degree to O’ Levels offered by Oxford University in the
UK) does not permit anyone younger than 14 years to
appear for the exam. However no such condition exists
in the British law and Sitara was able to sit for the
exam at the British Council in Faisalabad.
Sitara helps in teaching students from classes 6 and 7.
She aspires to become a scientist when she grows up.
One of four siblings, she takes an avid interest in world
affairs and likes listening to BBC and CNN.
