This booklet explains how property owners can avoid losing their homes because of delinquent payments.

Foreclosure may occur. This is the legal means that your lender can use to repossess (take over) your home. When this happens, you must move out of your house. If your property is worth less than the total amount you owe on your mortgage loan, a deficiency judgment could be pursued. If that happens, you not only lose your home, you also would owe HUD an additional amount.

Both foreclosures and deficiency judgments could seriously affect your ability to qualify for credit in the future. So you should avoid foreclosure if possible.

HOW TO RESOLVE CONFLICTS

While civilization has made immense strides, changing more in the last 100 years than it has in perhaps all of man's recorded history, the humanities have failed to keep pace and science has failed ...

While civilization has made immense strides, changing more in the last 100 years than it has in perhaps all of man's recorded history, the humanities have failed to keep pace and science has failed to provide us workable solutions to the increasing social turmoil that today surrounds us all.

The resulting escalation of global terrorism, cultural and religious intolerance fuels conflicts between nations and edges the world toward new and more deadly wars.

Thus there is an urgent need for real solutions to bring about a bettering of society and to resolve conflicts big and small.

It seems that people often have trouble getting along: Families argue, neighbors come to blows, countries lob weapons at each other. But is this the way it has to be?

Anthropologists, sociologists, psychologists and others say it is. Having observed a long history of man's quarrelsome behavior, they claim that man has animal instincts, or that he is antisocial and violent by his very nature.

In truth man is rather peaceful. But he can be driven, individually and collectively, to hatred and violence.

The good news is that something can be done about it.

This booklet contains three articles by L. Ron Hubbard with great relevancy to today's international scene. They are:
The Race Against Man's Savage Instincts
The Third Party Law
What is Greatness?

In researching the causes of conflict and violence, he unearthed much data upon the nature of human relations and revelations that shed light on the seemingly war-like character of man. Mr. Hubbard also discovered a fundamental and natural law of human relations which explains why conflicts between people are so often difficult to remedy. And he provided an immensely valuable tool that enables one to resolve any conflict, be it between neighbors, co-workers or even countries.

Widespread application of this law will bring about the resolution of differences and restore peaceful relations. It can be applied by anyone who wishes to employ it to better things around them and to create a calmer world.

This plan spells out what steps to take and what steps to teach the children to take in case of an emergency like a fire or earthquake. The hardest part of making real a collective vision of a software project is dealing with one's coworkers and customers. Writing computer programs is important and takes great intelligence and skill. But it is really child's play compared to everything else that a good programmer must do to make a software system that succeeds for both the customer and myriad colleagues for whom she is partially responsible.
To survive in this increasingly competitive market, companies will need to establish a competitive advantage at every opportunity. Fully leveraging time-to-market advantages from next-generation technology is an important step in that process. To do so, companies must identify and remove the development processes bottlenecks that impede time to market. This paper outlines the key strategies in practice today to do just that. Most of the strategies are related to the rapid deployment of smaller, more frequent development efforts. But these strategies also hold promise for large-scale, ongoing efforts, as well. Reduced risk. More value, more often. Faster adoption. All benefits that next- generation technology is designed to deliver.

They may have heard you gripe, or even argue, about your bills. They've heard you say that you can't afford something they wanted, and then fumed as you found the money for something else you wanted.

These messages were delivered by Dr. Brownson on weekly broadcasts of Words of Hope, an international radio broadcast of the Reformed Church in America in 1985.

Ours is an age which insists on knowing "how." We are impatient with theories we can't practice and instructions we can't follow. If we're to do something, we want someone to show us a workable plan, to lead us, as we say, down a "plain path."

That need is especially acute for me when I buy anything that needs to be assembled . After I get home and open the box, if all I have before me is an array of parts—nuts and bolts, plates and screws—I'm lost. I can't figure out where to start without directions; I can't begin to visualize the process without a diagram. And for me, general instructions are not nearly enough. Nothing can be safely taken for granted. If I'm to get it all together, in working order, someone will have to make the enterprise marvelously simple.

Mind you, even that may not be enough. Even when I grasp the plan, I may still falter in the execution. What I really need is someone included in the package to show me what to do, or even do it for me when I get stuck. I'm willing to try, you understand. I'm just radically inept!

When it comes to knowing how to live , all of us share some of that ineptness. We greatly need both direction and inner strength. How good it is that God has given us his Word and sent his Spirit to our hearts!

This book celebrates the Lord's provision for us. In Jesus Christ we can learn how to live-and live happily. I send it forth with the prayer that God will make it a means of light and strength for you. Our fond wish at Words of Hope is to be "helpers of your joy."

Ticks, including tick larvae and nymphs (the two life stages that precede the metamorphosis into the adult tick form) favor a moist, shaded environment, especially areas with leaf litter and low- lying vegetation in wooded, brushy or overgrown grassy habitat. You do not need to be an avid outdoorsperson to come into contact with infected ticks. Since many mammals other than deer and dogs are hosts to the Ixodes ticks that carry Borrelia , Babesia , Bartonella and Ehrlichia , infected ticks may be brought into suburban and urban settings by wildlife moving through the areas during the day and night. Your dog or cat can bring them into the house, or you may get them sitting out in your yard. Other types of animals are hosts to ticks carrying these organisms, including other mammals and other mammals. Other arthropods, such as mosquitoes, may turn out to successfully carry tickborne organisms.

Let's face it - none of us write perfect code, and your almost-perfect PHP scripts are bound to throw an error now and then, even if you've tested them hundreds of times. It's simply impossible to rule out everything, and that's no problem really, as long as you handle the errors properly.

PHP scripts should never publicly display any error on a live production website, as it could lead to security problems, and it just looks bad to your visitors. Can you imagine your bank's website throwing an error when trying to view your bank account? I'm sure that wouldn't inspire much faith in you.

That's why in this article I'm going to show you how to handle errors in PHP. In this article I will first take you through the basics of error handling, by catching all PHP errors with the set_error_handler() function. After that we'll have a look a new PHP 5 feature called Exceptions which can also be used to create and catch errors. At the end of the article I will show you how to trigger your own errors.

But before we begin with anything, let's have a look at how error reporting works in PHP.
